3. No Excuse for the Heathen (Romans 1:18-32 )
I suppose the first time I ever heard the word heathen other than church was when Aunt Esther on the hit television show Sanford and Son called Fred Sanford one. In the scripture, the Greek word for heathen appears in the scriptures times in verses. When you fail to obey His Word. Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? King James Version (KJV)
What does the Bible say about? Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; his name is the Lord ; exult before him! Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.
