A little bit of everything in my life
A Little Life by Hanya YanagiharaWhen four classmates from a small Massachusetts college move to New York to make their way, theyre broke, adrift, and buoyed only by their friendship and ambition. There is kind, handsome Willem, an aspiring actor; JB, a quick-witted, sometimes cruel Brooklyn-born painter seeking entry to the art world; Malcolm, a frustrated architect at a prominent firm; and withdrawn, brilliant, enigmatic Jude, who serves as their center of gravity.
Over the decades, their relationships deepen and darken, tinged by addiction, success, and pride. Yet their greatest challenge, each comes to realize, is Jude himself, by midlife a terrifyingly talented litigator yet an increasingly broken man, his mind and body scarred by an unspeakable childhood, and haunted by what he fears is a degree of trauma that he’ll not only be unable to overcome—but that will define his life forever.
Hey, our system thinks you're a bot.
What can I say, I like quotes. Believe it or not, they come in handy pretty often. I think that these quotes are some of those things. Probably one of the more important lessons there is to learn in life, as well as one of the harder lessons. You let yourself get close to people, and you think you know them, and then they up and leave. You just finally saw through them.
Hi there & Welcome!
This time however I managed to cut 8 inches and still have decent hair length left! And since this may be the only time I ever get to donate my hair in my life, I want to make it count! But how to donate? And not only how, but to whom? Mine has been colored not bleached and is only 8 inches, not the great lengths some are able to donate.
